If you are ever asked, in a recipe, to use a heat proof bowl...
Just remember this...
Placing a bowl beneath the mixing bowl (already lifted into place) and then filling it with hot water (refreshing every few minutes) does the same thing.
You don't need no stinking heat proof bowl!
